Parkland Housing Market
The Parkland real estate housing market became a part of the City of Calgary in 1961 and the development of the community began over a decade later in 1974. The name of the neighbourhood was chosen to acknowledge its connection with Fish Creek Park. The 20-metre wide strip connecting the community with the park gives residents fast direct access to its amenities.

Parkland Schools
The community is served by 2 schools, Prince of Wales Elementary and St. Philip Elementary which will make parents happy when they are buying a home for sale in Parkland. Students also have easy access to high schools and other elementary schools in the southeast part of Calgary including Sam Livingston Elementary, Fairview Junior High School and Lord Beaverbrook High School.
