Chaparral Housing Market

Chaparral takes its name from an ecosystem featured in some foothills that boast cold wet winters and very hot summers. These are perfect growing conditions for a number of evergreen shrubs. The community was established in 1995, and planners envisioned that the Bow River would become a popular recreational spot for residents. They were correct, and Chaparral real estate development has been booming ever since.
