Chaparral Housing Market

The lakefront community of Chaparral takes its name from an ecosystem featured in some foothills that boast cold wet winters and very hot summers. These are perfect growing conditions for a number of evergreen shrubs. The neighbourhood was established in 1995, and planners envisioned that the Bow River would become a popular recreational spot for residents. They were correct, and Chaparral waterfront real estate development has been booming ever since.

This community has a number of varying housing options available. Buyers can choose from Chaparral luxury condominiums and single-family detached houses near the water, depending on their budget. The average house price in Chaparral also varies depending on the type of house being bought, but rarely goes beyond the $300k-$1m range.
