Oakridge Housing Market

After being annexed to the city of Calgary in 1956, real estate development in the area that would become Oakridge began slowly. It was officially established in 1968 and development in the area accelerated shortly afterwards and continued through the 1970's. As a result of careful town planning much of the property that was built at the time was single-family detached housing.
