This new six-lane freeway has significantly reduced commute times. There is a private shuttle bus available to commuters, with drop-offs at various stops enroute to downtown Calgary.
Entertainment in Okotoks includes the Okotoks Dawgs, an amateur baseball team which plays in one of Southern Alberta's finest municipal stadiums. The Okotoks Oilers provides fast junior hockey action during the winter.
