Search Okotoks homes for sale below. Okotoks is a 15-minute drive south from Calgary's city limits, about 5 km west of Highway 2. It's a picturesque town nestled in the Sheep River Valley with an unusual name, taken from the Siksika First Nations name for "rock." This is in reference to the area's famous glacial erratic, which is a massive rock left behind by glaciers millions of years ago.
