Ranchlands Housing Market

Before the real estate market now known as Ranchlands was developed, it was a hunting ground for aboriginals and grazing land for European settlers. The area was annexed by Calgary in 1961 and established as a community in 1977. To commemorate its historical background, the park in Ranchlands features a glacial rubbing stone which geologists call an "erratic."
