Ogden Housing Market
The community of Ogden was established back in 1912, and today it is considered to be one of the oldest real estate markets in Calgary. This is where to look for historical real estate. The neighbourhood was named after I.G Ogden, who was a former Canadian Pacific Railway vice president. The Millican name comes from the Millican family, early settlers from back in the 1900's.
The Ogden community has a rich history, so you can expect to see numerous vintage homes and buildings in the area. Ogden Hotel for example is a historical establishment. There are approximately 8,500 home owners and renters here and the majority of the real estate in Ogden are single-family detached properties.
