Kim Avery, REALTOR®
Wherever Kim goes she shines with enthusiasm and energy and a desire to help others. Kim likes to joke that she has been in Real Estate since 1977 as her father has been a Realtor since then. But to be honest, she’s been licensed since 2005 and it was the best decision she has ever made. Kim values community, collaboration, and commitment. She takes pride in helping her clients not only find a home but design a lifestyle around where they live. She is a certified life coach and assists in making your home buying and selling dreams come true while matching the things in life that you love.
Kim attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology after being a collegiate wrestler for 3 years. She quickly learned that business was her passion more than science. University taught her time management skills, detailed orientation, and a hard-working ethic towards life.
Little did she know that Real Estate has become a way of life for her, a passion, and a desire to be in the industry for the rest of her life. She takes her job very seriously and ensures clients feel comfortable and knowledgeable in the buying process.
Kim says she can’t wait for what’s to come in the industry for technology, virtual tours, and leadership.
Kim thinks that in order to get a buzz out of life, a Realtor needs to create value and trust. Kim enjoys sharing knowledge and patience with her clients.
After getting her Re/Max Green certification she tries to be kind to the environment where she can, and runs a paperless office where possible. She enjoys being ridiculously generous with her knowledge and makes the home buying process serious yet fun. It’s her belief that the more generous she is, the more trust, appreciation, and good community you will have around you.
Kim loves giving back to her community. She has volunteered for SIDS Calgary, the Alberta Children's Hospital, and the Canadian Cancer Center.
In her free time, she enjoys wakeboarding, wake surfing, boating, hiking, biking, camping, and well, traveling, and anything active!
